ProFantasy has released the "Source Maps: Cities" package with some beautiful maps, drawing tools and symbols. I am still awaiting City Designer 3 eagerly, before I throw myself into creating some larger cities of my campaign world. Instead I tried to create a fast map out of the fouth release of the annual. You can see it on the front page. The map is called Farlangh and follows the instructions from the pdf that goes with the issue. I am also impatiently awaiting the Symbols Set 1 for CC3, that should be released anytime soon. Alot is happening over at PF and the new toys makes me spending more time with cartography.

I decided to put up a map highlight on the frontpage - where I present my most recent creation and some thoughts about them. This one is based on a norman keep (Nottingham Castle) and is my first serious try with DD3. I used alot of effects f.x. on the outside and the stairs. I forgot the lightning and will have to experiment with that a bit. The keep has 4 floors, so expect more levels soon. Feel free to discuss the map here.

I have added a new product to the shop. The Mapventures Map Borders feature 72 borders for use with CC3 or any graphic tool people use to create maps. The product is available at RPGNow for a price 4.50 USD. I hope these borders may be an alternative for the default borders shipped with CC3 or other map making applications. See them in action at the "Atlas" section. I added a few bonus symbols in a symbol catalog as well.
